This is the coop we built today! Excuse the rudimentary lock lol that's temporary. But tell me what y'all think! I'm posting pics at different stages of the build.

EDIT: we are adding windows and vents we have not gotten there yet. This is on our list for today but weather is yuck we are also adding 2 fenced runs off the 2 sides one side will be under some trees for shade in the summer and ththe other side will be open full sunlight. I will update with more pictures as we accomplish these things.

Looks nice what size is it?
A few things that I would recommend. windows, for added light.
Ventilation, looks like there is none, except, the door.
Metal roof/ coop, may cause condensation to build up and fall inside the coop.

Yes
That'll be a nice coop when it's finished. (I'm assuming it's not finished at this point.) At the very least it will need plenty of venting.
Yes we still have to put windows and vents in. That was our plan today. We finished up too late last night to add them. Weather today is yuck so it may have to wait till tomorrow! We also plan to attach 2 fenced in runs on the 2 sides!!!

The coop is an 8x12. We are going to be adding a few windows and vents. We didn't get to add those yesterday but it is on today's to do list. We are also adding 2 fenced in runs on 2 sides. Nesting boxes will also be added in a few weeks as well. We live in North Dakota.

I love it!
It looks hi and dry. Once you have windows it will have more light in there for them.
One thing i notice are your perches. Are they removable for cleaning? Your going to have to clean under

there the most. My husband built mine so they set in cradle and i can lift them out on cleaning day and get in there with the shovel to clean. My roosts are cedar poles reputed to repel leg mites and lice.
