Hey everyone!
New chicken owner in Virginia, really excited to be a part of the community. My family and I purchased our first chickens at the beginning of March. We're up to 19 birds now and loving it so far.
We currently have 3 Brahmas, 3 Olive Eggers, 2 Lavender Orpingtons, 2 ISA Browns, 3 Brown Leghorns, 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Rhode Island Reds, and 1 Americauna, 1 Wellsummer, 1 Golden Laced Wyandotte, and 1 Jersey Giant.
I've really enjoyed setting up their coop and building a roosting post for them to have inside of their run, it's a great way for me to get my hands dirty since I work at the PC all day and tend to game in the evening.
Wife and Kids are super stoked as well. Looking forward to asking some questions and learning a lot!
