hello all!

I'm very excited to be a new chicken Daddy! I have cookoo marans, barred rocks, welsummers, and golden sex links. My oldest are 8 weeks old and my youngest are three weeks. I just installed my new coop and pin. They are happy lil ladies!

Sounds like you have a lovely flock! Those are all great breeds. You'll enjoy those dark eggs from the welsummers and marans.

Welcome to BYC, Matt. Glad you decided join our flock. You have a nice mixed flock. Golden Sex Link of one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links, and they are laying machines. You should get loads of eggs from those girls. :o) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
 
Congrats! You have a pretty diverse flock. Have fun with raising them and enjoy the eventual reward of daily homegroen eggs!
