Hi my name is Lyndsay and i live in mobile. i'm not from mobile but have been here for a little over 2 years. I just started raising chickens. I have 5 1 month old chicks. three of which are silkies.

Nice to meet you Lyndsay, Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. When your chicks are older, you can post photos at "what breed or gender is this." Silkies are very difficult to sex as chicks. You might also like to post on the "Silkie thread," to learn more about them. They are a very popular breed.

Im Rebecca. I just got chickens and I have 3 ameruacanas. My black one in the photo is Eggajandra. My white one is Dumpling and my tan/golden one is Cluck Norris.
