We moved to the country last year (right before Covid...) and this spring we are wanting to add chickens to our family.
Looking at Rhode island reds, golden comet, speckled sussex, barred rock, and australorp... If anyone has an opinion on any of those, good or bad, of be glad to hear it. These will be available 2/20 so
I am looking at coop build plans now. So many options there...
We also have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 kids of my own and then my 3 nieces and nephews are all here weekdays while their parents work. I am hoping to teach all these littles a lot about gardening and learn how to raise chickens with them.
