My family and I have be raising chickens for eggs this year, We have built a nice large cop and have 19 hens from reds to bantams and polish hens, americauna and rock hens as well as laced hens. We bought them in three stages, the first six are laying actively. The second stage will begin soon and the last set will by the end of setpember. Here is a picture of our hens. We also have a turkey we are raising for thanksgiving dinner.
