Hi everyone! I'm a brand new chicken owner, since April actually. You guys don't know it, but you've helped me immensely getting my girls this far. My hubby bought me 5 chicks for my birthday. I've always wanted backyard hens. One ended up being a rooster, and sadly we had to re-home him last week. So, I have 4 hens left. They were all supposed to be RIR's, but it's apparent two are not lol! I've been searching chicken forums all day trying to figure out what the other two are with not much luck. But I'm getting more well versed by the week! I decided to join today, because I think I'm hooked on them. Might as well go all in. :)

What a wonderful birthday gift you got! If you post photos of the birds in question we can help you ID them.

I don't know how or where to post here. But I just found this and I'm panicking a bit. Girls seem healthy- THAT doesn't look healthy. Anyone?
