I’m Jim from Maysville , NC. I just purchased my first two chickens. They are two unsexed Rhode Island Red chicks. I plan on getting more after getting used to these two. I have wanted to raise chickens for a long time but just now getting the opportunity . I’m looking forward to watching my chicks grow. I will probably be back on here with lots of questions!

Hi Jim, enjoy the chicks! When you decide to add to your flock, it would be helpful to read up on integration (adding birds to an existing flock can be a bit tricky).

This way I can read how I may have a similar question or help give some advice.
