New chicken is a bully?

I just got two new silkie hens, I had a rooster and 4 silkies before. I let the new ones out of their pen supervised with my old ones and one of the new ones is bullying my old ones. I’ve never heard of that. I always thought newcomers were bottom of the totem pole. She seems to just be chasing or pecking any hens smaller than her. Is this normal?

An aggressive Silkie! Name her Lilith or Warrior Princess. I would tend to believe she sees a future for herself amongst a culture of pacifists.

Hahaha great name ideas!! I was leaning towards Sassy but now I’m thinking Xena. She left the silkies her own size alone only picked on the little ones. The rooster finally had enough and jumped on her so I put her back in her pen. Taking it slow, little trips out each day. Hope she’s not an a-hole. Her buddy is a super submissive showgirl and she’s sweet with her so maybe just overwhelmed.
