Wow! Thanks for such a warm welcome everyone!!

For those who were asking, we have a Plymouth Barred Rock, 3 Black Australorps, a Rhode Island Red, and 2 Ameraucanas. We also have 4 Silkies (2 white, 1 blue, and 1 Splash Frizzle ) and just added six new babies two days ago . Chicken Math is for REAL y’all!

I’m actually going to post a few pics in a new thread of some of the new chicks because we got them from our local TSC and they’re an Assorted Bantam feather-footed mix of chickies! I can’t wait to see what some of them are!!

Hello! My husband and I along with our six beautiful kiddos have FINALLY, after looooooong years waiting, entered into keeping backyard chickens!!!!! Y’all I’m SO excited! I do have questions and in my research and studying for the last six months, numerous times have I come across this extremely helpful website and had many questions answered by simply reading yall’s responses. I’m happy to officially tag along and be on this wonderful (and already fulfilling) journey of raising chickens!
