I'm new to keeping chickens and am a bit worried about feeding the right things in the right amount. If I have 3 chickens, at point of lay, what should I be feeding them and how much? Do they need extra treats and vegetable mash?

Treats- No need for that unless you wish

As far as feeding the wrong thing don't worry too much, chickens will eat a lot of different things and all though somethings may make them produce more eggs, or live longer.
I would try to buy a feed that is more specifically designed for what you want your chickens for and there age
