I adore Brahmas as well.
In the 18 hundreds Brahmas were selling for $150-200 for two of them!

Wow!! They are beautiful birds. I’m hoping I won’t have too much of a difficult time with them. I’ve heard they are very docile

Mine have always been very mellow and calm.

I have an obsession with photos (as you can tell if you have read through this post).

I found that buying a few birds (8) turned into buying MANY birds and seeing ones that I just HAD TO have. So far, I’m enjoying my time as a chicken keeper. No eggs yet, but can’t wait for the first one!

Oldest birds are from April 15th. So we have a ways to go (;

Getting older (of course) some of the facial features have changed since I last posted. Still thinking all hens? My research has begun on what fully mature hens and roosters look like
