In the Brooder
Hi guys. Thanks for the add! I’m new to chickens in a round about way...
I bought an adorable coop on super clearance for 30$. Then found baby chicks at a local NPIP hatchery. Was going to start with 3 (small coop) and ended up with 5. Lost 3 the first week and replaced with 3 more. These 5 have done wonderfully and are now 5-8 wks old.
Back to the original coop that is now too small for my little flock. Just sold it today on Craigslist for $150 and we are preparing to build our coop. We are in coastal SC so are going to need a warm weather coop.
I have Linda, an Olive Egger
Margot, an EE
Jackie, Carol and Lois who are Salmon Faverolles.
Thanks again and can’t wait to get tons of info from you guys.
