We moved to Star, ID a year and a half ago. Sure love this beautiful little town. People are so helpful. We have been married 58 years with 3 kids and 9 grandchildren.

We bought our 12 baby chicks in early May. Our youngest grandkids live about a mile away. They wanted to raise them for a while and loved it. The chicks were very socialized when they came to our coop (which was built by their parents).
Chicks are all different so the kids could tell them apart and name them. Not very scientific, but fun. Getting 6 or 7 eggs each day so far. They taste so good.
Lots to learn!! Glad I found this website.

Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Congratulations on 58 years of marriage. My parents were married for 50 before my mom passed away. My sister was married for nearly 55 years but, her husband passed away 4 days short of that mark. (lung cancer).

Sounds like you found your paradise on earth in Star, ID.:wee

We did. Have just enough room for a horse and chickens (free range now).
