Hi, all! We have four chicks that are somewhere between 2-3 weeks old (we think). We’ve been turning the shed into a coop and I was interested in what everyone thought about the pictures I’ve attached. Are the roosts too high, too low, okay? My plan was to have the roosting bars on the left and their nesting boxes on the right? Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

looks like a nice big shed for 4 lucky birdies. is that the only window they need at least 1 sq foot ventilation each. above their heads. and covered with 1/2 inch hardware cloth.
i actually put 2 layers of it ( inside and out) but i’m extra .

Nothing's labeled so I need clarification. Is Green or Pink the roost? Or both?

If Green is a roost, why is it up so high? If both are roosts, then from the way the photo looks they're too steeply stacked, you want roosts 12" minimum from wall and 14-16" horizontal between each roost.

The shelf under the two bars, is that going to be a poop board? If so, it really needs to be extended out further as droppings off Pink may not hit the board.

Assuming the ledge the nests sit on is the same as the other one, that should be fine - I assume the bars on the side of nest area are for access?

There are two windows and two vents. I did put screen over the vents but not the windows.
