[Chicken and Mastiff Lover]

Hi Y'all!! My name is Jolene and I live in North East Texas. My husband and I recently decided to get into chickens. We have 5 Rhode Island Red and 5 Black Sex Link pullets that are all 13-14 weeks old.. I have 2 sons (14 & 11) and 5 dogs; 2 Dogue de Bordeaux, an Australian Shepherd, GSD mix, and a Boxer. We have an 8x10ft coop and a 20x20ft fenced in run. We've recently started letting our girls free range in the back yard, which has been delightful to watch as they scurry around looking for anything to eat. I'm really excited to explore the copious amounts of knowledge to be had here.
