New Chicken Lover :)

I happened to get a few chicks at TSC this spring and am just in love! We are going to a swap tomorrow to get a few more and I am taking in all the info here to get ready to build / re-purpose something into a new coop. Right now we have a small cheap one from TSC, but we need a larger one.

I just love watching my little friends run around the yard! They are free range during the day, and closed into their coop at dark. Such good little chickens.

And I just found their first clutch of eggs today! There were four, a pretty light brown color. I will post pics of everyone and the eggs shortly; I need help to decide whether one is a hen or rooster!
