Hi, so glad to be here. I have five chickens and a duck, all hens. They all share a coop and run. I am working on building a larger 8x12 run so I can get a few more girls. I live in city limits so am restricted to 12 hens, and 2 ducks. No roosters allowed in city limits...I also have 2 dogs and 7 Guinea pigs. Love my animals. My chicken love started when my daughter brought home a chick that needed extra support. She is a 1/2 buff cochin bantam, 1/2 EE. She had splayed leg, couldn't walk, and was being picked on. We took her in and worked with her until she recovered. By that time we were attached and asked to keep her..then well.. chicken math...
