Handle the chicks as much as possible; let others hold them as well (gently) so they get used to any and all humans. The more you handle them while they're young, the more they'll trust you and be more friendly when they are older.

And I agree with what others are saying here: the space requirements are WRONG.
Give as much space as possible - more space, happy face!

I just realized, after reading about the deep bedding option, that this coop would not be able to do that because of the floor being shallow. It doesn't look like I can pile material in there because of where the nesting boxes are. Does it appear that way to you also?

Everywhere I look it says different specs etc for 6 birds. I wish businesses would post the correct info on their items So frustrating, especially being a newbie

It really is frustrating, especially if you are new to raising a flock. And it is so unfair to the birds, that manufacturers deceive the public that way.
When you get your coop, measure your roost(s). I allow mine 12" each on the roost. The roost needs to be 16 to 18" from the wall but most prefab roosts are less than 12" from the wall. Smaller standard chickens and bantams do best under those circumstances.
