(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
New to chickens, got them 7 weeks ago!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Six

(3) What breeds do you have?
Buff Orpingtons

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far they've been living room chickens 😅 But the therapeutic aspects for the kids and me have been the most rewarding. We have allergies and other issues with cats and dogs, so it's been great to have animals for the first time in years.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Going to the gym, renovating my house, writing

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I home school my kids! We also have freshwater fish.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
I have found this site multiple times when searching for answers to my questions on DuckDuckGo. I figured it was time to participate!

that’s exactly how I joined BYC my searches kept leading me to the site. Orpingtons are amazing. You are going to love them and oh I see ..you already do. !! Lol A warm welcome to byc!!
