New backyard chicken owner in Cornwall on Hudson NY and have many questions. 4 chickens, 100 questions. Look forward to being able to converse here. So far, articles and threads that I've looked up on this site have been extremely helpful and I recently learned all about what healthy chicken poop should look like.

You have definitely come to the right place for all the fun and learning! Your chickens will have you trained up in no time. ;) But seriously, you will pick up stuff as you go along and of course, ask as many questions as needed. Welcome aboard!
 
You are in the right place!

I can well remember my first days. And here's what I learned: it's not that difficult and chances are, if you've made your coop safe and well ventilated, you're going to find out it's more fun than work.

So poke around here and read and ask any specific questions that will help you get some direction.

It was so helpful! I didn't realize that chickens shed their intestinal lining and the first time I saw blood in the coop, I was very concerned!
