New Chicken Mama!

Hello all! I'm from South Texas and new to chicken raising. Got my set up ready recently and had 2 hens (fairly certain Black Sex Links) around a year and a half old that I adopted from a friend who had to move. Both were broody and I knew someone with a large flock who gave me some fertilized eggs. They have a group of chickens and a rooster that were brought in off of a property that were living and roaming on. Some of the eggs started hatching recently so my flock is growing! Both hens are doing great with our newest chicks. 7 eggs left to hatch. Looking forward to
seeing all the babies and starting our flock!
