Hello, everyone,
I am new and perhaps not so new to raising chickens. My parents and grandparents, way back in the 40s and 50s raised chickens for meat and eggs. I don't remember any of them having names, which was perhaps a good thing. Around the first of March 2020 I bought 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Ameraucanas from TSC. They are now about 6 weeks old and stand about a foot tall. They sure grow up fast, don't they?
Besides adoring my chicky babies, I work full time for a law firm in Nashville, love to read a good book now and then, dote on my grandchildren, am a member of the General Francis Nash Chapter of the Tennessee DAR, and take ukulele lessons. I may need another hobby. LOL
Good to be a part of this group!
Ellen
