New Chicken Mama

Hi! I'm a new chicken owner and I have 4 15 week old chickens. I have 1 Speckled Sussex, 1 Lavendor Orpington, 1 black Copper maran, and 1 Olive egger.

My chickens will be going into their newly built Coop on Friday.

I enjoy watching my grandson interact with our babies. My husband and I are retired. We have 2 dogs and a rabbit.
I found out about Back Yard Chickens while looking up some information on them.

Welcome to the forum! I, too, use my flocks to convince the daughter to bring the grandkids over to help take care of them.
