Hi, my name is Claire and I’m currently hatching my first lot of chickens! I am really excited for this. I’ve been on waiting list for an allotment for 3 years and I finally got to the top of the list. The one I have taken over already set with the a chicken pen and a run down coop. I’ve got rid of the old coop and got a shed which I’ve converted to a coop suitable for my hens.
Currently have one adult hen which my allotment neighbour gave me and 10 eggs ready to hatch any day now!
My two sons are really excited to start this journey too, they’ve helped to clear the old pen out.
