I'm new to Chickens and I have so many questions. I live in Middle GA and we've had chickens since the first week of April 2025. We raised 16 chicks in a brooder in the house while completing our coop/run. They have transitioned nicely for the past couple of weeks into the completed coop/run. We recently lost about 6 new chicks I don't know why they passed except I think we received them already sick from a semi-local breeder and their age was misrepresented.

Hello! Welcome to BYC! Very sorry you lost 6 chicks 😥 This is a great place to get answers to questions when you need help!

What cute chicken legs! And puppy!

I'm a new Chickie Mama too - but up north in Central MN! This is an awesome place to be!
