Welcome to BYC!
I'm from a mostly hot climate too. Just make sure that they have plenty of shade, cool water, and good ventilation in the coop. I do not use a mister because our humidity is so high here, instead I make mud puddles for mine. They love to scratch in the mud when it is hot.
