Hi there and nice to meet you. Welcome to the forum. You will have fun here. Red stars are fun. We have black stars at the moment and they are the biggest pullets we've ever had. They are about 7.5 pounds. They've slowed down on laying for the moment. We had a huge snow storm come through the Colorado High Rockies (where we live). We got about a foot of snow. Now it'll get back up into the seventies - go figure. Weather does affect our nine girls. Anyway, welcome again and talk to you soon. Angela (dsquawker)
We are enjoying a little bit of country, here in the city. Actually we live in Sac County and have 2 meat chickens, 1 Rhode Island Red, 1 Plymouth Barred Rock and 1 Buff Orpington...labeled as "pullets", so hopefully they really are hens and won't start crowing. Best wishes with your chickens!
