Thank you, all if you, for such a warm welcome. I have been following BYC for a few weeks now and finally joined. I had a problem with Marilyn and her weakened, distended crop I failed to notice, unfortunately. I found excellent advice on a proper diet, emptying her crop safely, and making a crop bra for her today. She hates it, of course, but really enjoys being inside for "breakfast in bed" of soft scrambled eggs in olive oil, applesauce, hen crumbles in vanilla yogurt, and probiotic water.
