My husband and I got 4 chicks from TSC, (a leghorn, Isa Brown, Light Brahma and a Barnevelder.) 10 days later we went back and got 2 more leghorns, a Bantam, and Indian Red Jungle Fowl now for a total of 8.
We also have 5 dogs, that were all rescue hounds. Of course Chihuahuas are my breed of choice.
(Hence the user name) . Love to watch these chicks grow! It seems they grow before my very eyes. I am suspicious of three of them and pray they are hens, but not sure yet. We live in Florida, and are extra diligent to keep cool water available. I love this forum! It got me through the baby chick stage without too much stress.
