Hello ,
I’m new to the chicken life, I brought my girls home 2 weeks ago this Friday. I have a Australorp, Orpington, and a Ameraucana. The farmer we got them from said they are about a year old. I have them in a coop with a run. I have an Acre of fenced in land that they now free range in. I let them out at 7:30 and put them back in the coop in the afternoon so the dog can share the space too.. lol I feed them layer feed and give them cracked corn and black sunflower seed for treats. I also mixed oyster shell in the layer mix. I just want to make sure I’m doing everything right.. so far no eggs... i understand they need to get accustomed to their new home. About how long should they take to start laying.

Id appreciate any tips😁

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
I'd recommend no treats until they've started laying and then no more than 1/4 cup every other day for that many birds.
Put the oyster shell on the side instead of mixing in with the feed.
If they seem relaxed and happy and the farmer didn't lie about their age, you should see eggs soon.
