Hi, that's a high boy to girl ratio...for 7 hens it would be best to only have 1 male. What's your plan for all those boys?

That is a great question. I am rehoming 3 of them. We would really like to keep one rooster of each type. That would mean 3 roosters to 7 hens. Not sure if that is going to work.

It's not likely to work. The pullets will be overbred and stressed and the boys will fight.
