Glad you joined.Yes. A very good breed indeed. My BA is the top hen. She is not remotely a bully in her status. All she needs to do is give a look and a lower ranking hen will walk away. She's an excellent mother and has a beautiful disposition. She's a favorite in my flock.

Sometimes I donate my surplus to the local Bread Shed (soup kitchen), other times I sell, then donate the proceeds to a mission project through my church. We've financed wells in African villages, a truly life-changing project. Today my eggs raised $25 toward this!And I sell at below grocery store prices, so that blesses my low-income customers as well.
