New chicken mom

I just got my first two chickens; a Rhode Island Red hen and a currently unknown buff colored hen. Originally ordered 6 but one died in shipping, one right after and then two other a couple days later. The remaining two are beautiful, a blast to watch and growing every day (they are two weeks old now).

Am planning on adding to my flock at the end of January with a shared order of 36 with some friends and neighbors. Can't wait for fresh eggs.

I just love going out to there coop every morning and getting the eggs it worth walking the ought the morning coldness and pretty soon snow brrrr
