I'm sure plenty of people have 40+ chickens! "Chicken Math" is a coined term for a reason lol. I only have 20 at the moment (I have room for 4 moreI’ve been a chicken lady for about 8 months now, still new.
Embarrassed to say how many I have maybe 40. Well that includes chicks though.
I have barn yard mix (my layers), silkies (all ages), serama (all ages) and some polish chicks.
They are my therapy most days… I forget everything else in the moments I spend with them.
Other hobbies, hmm I really do like organizing and cleaning (can’t tell right at the moment “chickens happened”) also arts and crafts when I have time.
I have two adult daughters, 4 grandchildren, an indoor yorkie elderly dog. 2 outdoor pups, a potbelly pig… I am a stay at home grandma was babysitting my youngest grandaughter but she’s in school now. Back to Scentsy and helping parents out on ranch.
I found BYC because everytime I had a chicken question and search this group came up. I couldn’t comment or continue with questions I had. So joined
