New Chicken Mommy

Welcome to BYC! Thanks for joining is. I'd expect eggs by now. What are you feeding them?

Welcome to BYC, Angie! Some of them will probably lay any day. Some may not lay until they are much older. It sounds like you prepared well, so all you can do now is wait.
I feed mine a starter/grower or All flock feed, with the calcium on the side. Good nutrition is important to layers.
Thank you! I feed the crumbles all flock feed for laying hens. I think this is still good for them?

Hello Angie, and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.

Yes. They can stay on this. Just put out a container of oyster shell on the side for free feeding.

Glad to meet you, Angie. Different breeds start at different times, which is why you see those wide ranges. Keep watching and checking under the tree and elsewhere (is the shed raised??) because they should start soon. Be sure they have ground oystershell (or some other calcium source) as well as grit available. You sound like you are doing all the right things. Best wishes from nearby Massachusetts!

The shed is on a concrete pad. I will get both tomorrow when I purchase feed. Thank you!
