Good evening. Just got 6 chickens this spring. 6 silver laced wyandotte. Have questions hope to get answers.

Congrats on your new wyandottes! That's a great breed! I hope you are enjoying them. I've always wanted to raise wyandottes! They are just so pretty. Oh, and I love your avatar! What a lovely dog!
 
Yes he is a great dog. I got him when he was 2 and his 5 now. Very overweight when I got him. Started him on Hill's WD food and he has lost 20 lbs, which to considered a lot in a dog. He loves to lay by coop and watch chickens.
 
Lol. My dog also loves to lay by the coop and watch the chicks. She would eat everyone of them if we hadn't over built it to keep her out! She's still a good dog she just doesn't understand why we won't let her have these self propelled squeaky toys.
 
Don't know if he to eat them but not going to see. He spends most of his day trying to catch the farm cats. No way will he win!!!
