New Chicken Owner here!!!

Hi, I have LEFT 10 hens, 4 roosters, 2 ducks, 4 turkey and 3 g hens. I had 14 more hens 7 more 6 hens and 4 more ducks, but have had some pretty nasty critters getting to them. I live in Pa on 6 acres my babies are free range and I am giving them 2 big scoops of feed a day plus all the table scraps. I was wondering if it was OK to to a free standing feeder? I saw a trash can feeder on here and it looked like a great idea. Also should I get them anything since they have rome of my whole yard, get them something ells other than the chick finisher that they are on right now? they should be laying soon now. they are 5 months old, RIR and BRocks and Some O Buffs oh and Bahama something.. they look like Hawks..lol I just want to make sure they get what they need. Please let me know, now i have to go and post on a different part on here about my other problems...lol Thanks so much!!!

A free standing feeder will work. With your varied poultry I think I would go to an all flock feed, and put a calcium supplement in a side dish for the layers.

Agreed a general all flock feed would probably be best. You could also put a seperate dish of oyster shell for your hens.

OK, I had no clue that they could have all these treats like milk and cheese. They are gonna live this. They also are not in a pen, but they have 6 acres from morning till dark.
