Hi everyone! I'm new here but have been using this amazing resource for a few weeks and decided I must sign up! Here are the answers to the topic questions for you!

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes I am new to chickens! I got 6 Easter egger chicks in July and they are now almost 8 weeks old.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I've got 6!

(3) What breeds do you have? All Easter Eggers

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? So far the experience my 7 year old is having with them. He LOVES them and is an amazing chickie caretaker. It's something we've done together and I've added their daily chores to his routine. He loves them and they love him!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, writing, playing my guitar and ukulele and anything outside!

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a Colorado native and have one kiddo who is 7. I work from home doing boring remote stuff but we enjoy many activities that Colorado has to offer. I'm 38 years old and my name is Chelsea!
