Anyone had any experience with a deformed baby chicken? Left leg is forward.. right leg is back.. and it has a head twitch.. but it seems to be eating and drinking fine. It just falls over alot.. i got him from rhe store after he had fallen into the food dish. His head was crunched to one side, he was on his back..and he couldn't get out. I felt bad and bought him.

Welcome! :yesss: We are glad you joined this flock!
Jump right in and make yourself at home.
Do you have some Nutri-Drench on hand?
If not get some, some extra vitamins might help him.

wonder if he is still young enough where maybe his legs could be hobbled so they would start to come to the right position. Make sure he has NO slippery newspaper etc to walk on. He needs non-skid flooring .
How do I hobble them? He seems to be good other then the falling over and the twitching. I bet he was damaged when he fell into the food dish..
