New chicken owner

Good morning.
I am a new chicken owner. We have 19 white Cornish rock giants and 26 Rhode island reds.
Our new babies arrived in may.
What age can you start killing the birds to eat?
20 weeks makes the meat more tender. Once any bird matures, the meat becomes tougher. Don't forget to rest the meat and a good brine makes a world of difference.
