(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Totally new, just got my chicks today but have been reading, researching, and watching how-to's for over a year or two!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(3) What breeds do you have?
We have a Partridge Olive Egger, Silver Spangled Hamburg, Golden Laced Wyandotte, a Frizzle Cochin Bantam, Blue Splash Orpington, Dominique, Green Queen Easter Egger, and a Light Brown Leghorn
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I'm not sure yet but I think learning all their little personalities will be great
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening and growing my own food
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married and we have five kids. 22, 21, 18, 16, and 8. I'm a Marine veteran and our two eldest are Air Force. The 18 year old is starting Nursing at the honors college in the fall.
