Hi everyone! I bought 9 hens about 3 months ago. I have no previous experience with chickens so I have some questions for you all. Supposedly all the chickens I got were supposed to be hens at the tractor supply and I finally got some brains and figured out 2 months later that one of my “hens” just had to be a rooster. I looked online and it said sometimes hens could crow 🤷‍♀️. Well this rooster (Sunny) got much bigger than the others. I don’t know if he just took over and ate up most the food or what. I had no intention on killing any of them but the poor guy hurt his leg just from running and he couldn’t walk. So I called up my sister in law from Honduras and had her cook him 😢 was he not extremely huge?

Yes, after he hurt his leg I put him on the scale and from what I could see he was about 19 pounds.
