Welcome to BYC!!(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are new to owning chickens. We first got them early May of this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We currently have 2 chickens right now. They are named Patty and Nugget.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We are not sure of the breeds for sure. One is a Barred Plymouth Rock and the other is a Delaware.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Our favorite their personalities and they love watching tv while cuddling with us.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Working on cars and helping out our community.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We also have a dove, a peach cheek conure, a rottweiler dog, and a cat. We currently are a window washer as my occupation.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
We found this site on Google while trying to answers we had to some questions about our chickens. We decided to join to communicate with other individuals that have their own flock and see what they know and what we can learn from them.
for the most part they are free range. We do coop them when we are not home or they are just going too far from the house. We actually have an inside coop for the evenings to sleep in as well as the outside coop. They like to cuddle and watch tv in the evening before being put in their inside coop for the night.nice to meet you. are your chickens free range. or not since you dont realy need alot of space although you dont want to keep them in to small of a space.
