New chicken owner! :-)

Hi, I have two warrens which I have named Elsey & Gladis, we got them as pets and the added bonus of eggs is brilliant. Still getting used to handling the girls as they are not very tame! (Bit nerve wracking) any tips for a new chicken owner? I've had a quick scout around the site and looks great!! Thanks from sunny England

Yes, the way to a chickens heart is thru their stomach. You may want to visit them at the same time each day and give them some little treat. They will come to wait for you and anticipate your arrival. After a bit, maybe sit down in their run and offer treats near you. Soon they will be climbing into your lap and discovering you aren't so bad after all.
