Hi all,
Just started with my own chickens, my dad gave me two chicks but couldn't wait to see if they were hens so went and got 2 bluebells and a maran. I absolutely love the maran who feeds from my hand (not managed this with the others yet) and she will sit on my arm. Im now hooked on chicken.

The way to a chickens or chicks heart is always food as you have found out. It's so nice when they are tame and you can really interact with them. I'm sure your others will come round with a bot more time.

Nice to meet you Sarah. I think after the others notice the marans is sweet on you, they will vie for attention as well. Treats can always seal the deal.
