(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
- My husband and I have been around chickens since we were small. But this will be our first time as the owners.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
- 29 feather babies in total, we lost one
(3) What breeds do you have?
- Jersey Giant Black, Buff Orpington, Golden Comet, Silver Laced Wyandotte and mixed Bantam (possibly all Branham)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
- Knowing what kind of life they have had and food they have eaten. The eggs and meat they will provide. Also, there never ending entertainment
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
- Crochet, camping, video games and gardeningare a few.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
- We have a 14 y/o son whos ecstatic about owning chickens. We have three dogs who are very interested in their new family members.

- I found BYC through my many google searches to give my feather babies their best life. I figured I might as well join the group since most of my questions were answered here.
