Goodmorning!
Our “rooster” turned out to be a hen and is now a mother of 2. I kept taking away her eggs and getting her off her nest, but she was persistent so i got her 2 babies 😒. She’s been taking great care of them and keeping them warm.
Instead of Pushpa, she will be called Anjali from now on.
The babies are Paratha and Borani.

I had lost one of our free roaming chickens as well and found her on a nest outside where i can’t reach her. Smart lady. Possibly more babies coming soon.

They are adorable! I love mom's chocolaty color.

Also, what is this cute pink brooder you're using?? 👀 You should enter it in the Creative Brooder Contest! I've never seen anything like it.
We specifically chose her for her colour, thinking she was a rooster lololol.
Can’t wait to see what the babies will be, always a fun game!!

The brooder is actually white, maybe the lighting is making it look more pinkish. And I bought it at the store where i got my first chicken, came with a chinese manual on how to put the thing together, so pretty sure it’s either from Temu or Alibaba 😂😂😂😂

Gorgeous momma and babies! :love

Who did you breed her too as she's got a partridge chick there.

These have been store bought and put under her! Which one is the partridge one? The one with the spots? Any clue on what colour the other one will be?
The silkies we say look like chipmunks are partridge. The other one I think will be chocolate, maybe mauve.

This is one of my silkies, which is a partridge. I think yours will be similar.

The chicken in front is a mauve hen, and to the left is a mauve rooster. The four in back are chocolate like yours. That's a chocolate splash on the right.

Here's a better picture of our mauve rooster.
