New Chicken Parent!

Hello everyone! My name is Karinne and I'm from South Florida. My family and I are new chicken parents and it seems that my hubby and I are more excited about this than our kids are. We acquired our 2 mature Speckled Sussex, Thelma & Louise, from a friend's farm after my husband decided he wanted organic eggs. They have acclimated to backyard life and are now laying. We are looking to expand our flock, as I would like to experience raising a chick to maturity. I have a 120g saltwater fish tank that I maintain and love! It has been my hobby for over 10 years now. We also have a dog, Tux, which we love! I have always loved animals!
