New Chicken Tractor!!

Had to show off the new 13'X9' chicken tractor that my wonderful DH built for my 10 & 12 year olds daughters chickens. They are now patiently awaiting the arrival of their 5 blue Silkies. So, every day, until they get here I get to say " No. They will not be here today." And then every day until they are big enough to put in the tractor, I get to say " No. They are still too little to put outside yet!"

Great job. Very nice tractor. Are your girls going to paint it? That might give them something to do until they get there and are old enough to put them outside.

Yes, they do want to paint it and probably write some silly stuff on it. We still have to add a few finishing touches to it, like roofing. We have a whole bunch of siding out in the barn that we are considering putting on it also. The entire thing was made out of scrap wood and wire that we had out in the barn! The only thing we had to buy were the hinges for the doors.
